Christmas at The George in Rye
The George in Rye is a magical place to be at Christmas. Rye is a town straight out of Dickens, and the hotel's historic fabric is the perfect setting for winter festivities. We've created a three night package that takes care of everything short of buying the presents, allowing you to relax and enjoy yourself with family and friends over fine food and wine.
The Christmas package is made up as follows....
The following total package price of £495 per person includes the following:
- three nights' accommodation arriving on Friday 24th (Christmas Eve) and departing Sunday 26th December
- Standard Double room
- all food as follows: full English breakfast, Afternoon Tea on arrival, Rye Bay Seafood Buffet (including reception drinks), Mince pies and mulled wine after Midnight mass, Traditional Christmas lunch, light Christmas dinner and our Boxing Day Sussex Gourmet dinner (including drinks on arrival and matching wines during)
- a Christmas gift from us
The outline programme will run as follows:
- check-in 3pm onwards on Christmas Eve. Afternoon Tea served at 4.30pm. From 7.30pm, join us for a cocktail reception and a Rye Bay Seafood Buffet in our Ballroom hosted by our Head Chef, Paul Gordon. Mulled wine served in our Bar after Midnight Mass at nearby St. Mary's Church.
- on Christmas Day, a traditional Christmas Lunch will be served. In the evening, we will be serving a a light 3-course set dinner from 7.30pm.
- on Boxing Day, relax during the day, and join at 7.30pm for a drinks reception followed by a Sussex Gourmet Dinner, together with carefully selected wines.
- check out on Monday 27th after a hearty breakfast or extend your stay at the special rates below
The following supplements apply:
- accommodation for child (when sharing parents' room) - £250 per child
- single occupancy supplement - £295 per person
- upgrade to Deluxe Double room - £40 per person (total of £535 pp)
- upgrade to Junior Suite - £95 per person (total of £590 pp)
- why not extend your break for one night (on Monday 27th December) for a special rate of just £60 per person per night, including full English breakfast
