There's lots happening at The George in Rye over the next couple of months.

We have just a few rooms left on February 14th, when we offer a romantic Valentine's Break that you can extend to the weekend (and why not?!). We take care of the champagne, flowers and chocolates for you, and the stay also includes a stunning Valentines Dinner. If you're thinking of popping the question, we recommend taking your partner for a walk on the beautiful Camber Sands (and we'll pray for a clear day)...

For those coming to The George between 15 – 24 February, you won't be able to miss the Rye Bay scallop festival. The area is famous for its hand-dived scallops in any case, but really goes to town at the peak of the season, when events ranging from tastings to cookery demonstrations take place around Rye. We're hosting a scallop gourmet dinner on Friday 21st and if you're a foodie, you're in for a treat! Find out more here.

At the end of this month, we welcome to The George in Rye Elaine Fletcher, who will be offering expert yoga tuition for guests. If you want to improve your posture, undo physical tension and feel really relaxed look no further! Yoga sessions are incorporated into a two night break with plenty of time built in to unwind and enjoy Rye. Suitable for beginners and those who've practiced yoga before, this is a real treat to see out the winter and get yourself in ship-shape condition.

In March our Easter Break will give you time to relax with family and friends with a three-night stay. We will be serving exquisite food and drink based on seasonal produce and of course, delicious Easter eggs and a special Easter egg hunt for the children.

And finally, if you were in young in the 80s, check this out: a 48 hour party down near Camber Sands, featuring Buck's Fizz, Go West and T'Pau. I don't think we could cope with two days of Spandau Ballet, but the challenge is there...
