Paul Pirie - Headliner
Paul Pirie began his stand-up career after giving up acting to pursue the funny man that lies within, quickly establishing himself on the Scottish comedy circuit before lauching onto the UK comedy scene. It should be pointed out that when Paul started stand-up in 2004 he was living with his Gran, having given away the keys to his flat in a pub quiz. Since this time Paul's career has encompassed TV, Film and Radio alongside his burgeoning skill as a stand-up with Paul emerging as one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK comedy circuit.
"Fizzing with energy and spewing out one-liners like he had just scoffed a dodgy prawn, Pirie is a man we will be seeing more of" - Daily Record "His delivery is superb" - Chortle
Paul Savage - Support
Paul Savage started performing comedy in 2007. In the 6 years he's been going, he has performed over 1000 gigs, including three runs at the Edinburgh Festival with the the Free Tea and Biscuits Show, which set a record for having the most genuinely homeless people in one audience front row (7). He also performed his debut hour "Cheerful Shambles" in 2013 which was well received by audiences and critics and had no homeless people in (as far as he's aware). Savage was also nominated for best full length debut show at the 2009 Leicester festival when he was in Unidentified Flying Improv, and was Juice Comedy club's Performer of the Year 2009. He has also won West Midlands Comedy Awards- Most improved act 2009 and West Midlands Comedy Awards Best Joke 2009. He was robbed every other year.
