Jason Rebello is joined by special guest soul singer Joy Rose for this outstanding headline festival concert. If your music tastes are rooted in cool soulful jazz and fusion, then you have found your 'Dream Ticket' for the festival.
Classically trained but inspired by Herbie Hancock, Jason Rebello first came to the attention of one of the founders of jazz fusion, Weather Report' saxophonist Wayne Shorter in the early 1990's.
He was one of the forerunners of the modern jazz resurgence of that period. Jason produced a further two albums by the end of the decade and toured extensively with his own band in the UK and internationally before he was invited by Sting to join his band.

Modern jazz at its finest. Simon Spillett is an award winning British saxophonist as is recognised and acknowledged as one of the most distinctive musicians on the current UK jazz scene.
The Simon Spillett Quartet includes British jazz royalty; pianist John Critchinson was a member of Ronnie Scott's band for eighteen years; bassist Alec Dankworth is the heir to of the most respected musical dynasties in the UK and drummer Trevor Tomkins has an impressive CV boasting work with Sonny Rollins, Lee Konitz and Blossom Dearie, among many others.
