Greyfriars garden opera package, The George in Rye

Greyfriars Garden in Winchelsea is the setting for a performance at dusk of Puccini's opera, La Bohème, on Saturday 23rd June. We thought this would be a lovely midsummer event that some of you might enjoy, so have created a weekend package: this includes your room on the Friday and Saturday nights, with tickets (and transport) for the opera included as well as a lobster and champagne picnic beforehand. The package starts at £275 per person.

Directed by Martin Lloyd-Evans of The Garden Opera Company, Giacomo Puccini's La Bohème is one of the world's most popular and captivating operas. The opera brings into focus the fragility of young hearts entangled in a struggle for life and some of Puccini's most ravishingly beautiful music. A limited number of opera tickets are available, with all ticket proceeds in support of local charities, St Michael's Hospice and Demelza House Children's Hospice.
