Thought you had to go to the Loire Valley in order to go on a wine-tasting tour? Well, not any more! Thanks to the huge renaissance in English wines, The George in Rye sits right in the middle of dozens of next-generation vineyards making seriously good wines, especially sparkling.

We've teamed up with English Vine Tours to you offer luxury chauffeured daytrips to some of our leading wine-makers. In our full days tours you can expect to be taken to two vineyards where you'll enjoy your own personal tour and wine tastings, with a slap-up lunch in the middle of the day. Choose to hit either Kent or Sussex, or make a two day trip of it and do both!

For guests who take the tours between Sunday and Thursdays, we are offering a special discounted stay, as detailed below.

The Wine-Tasting package is made up as follows:
* accommodation in choice of rooms based on two people sharing
* discount of £25 per room for single occupancy
* three-course dinner in our Dining Room up to a value of £50 per couple
* Wine-Tasting break rates available for stays from Sunday to Thursday
