The Nature Reserve can be divided into two general areas - the Beach Reserve and the area around Camber Castle. You can explore both these areas along the many footpaths, shown on the map.
Walking this network of paths provides an opportunity to see many species of plants and animals, a number of which are rare. And as these change with the seasons, you are likely to find something different each visit.
The Three Circular Walk, starts at the car park in Rye Harbour village. The Camber Castle Walk, starts near Rye. The leaflets availible from the site also give an idea as to what birds you might see from the hides, as well as other wildlife along the way. Historical and geographical features of interest are also noted.
